Unfortunately, there is one fact that seems to be perpetually lost on some of the users of this forum:
Just because a group of people consistently post to this forum doesn't mean that they represent the entire user-base.
In fact, the number of customers active on this forum represents at best a sizeable minority of all Maxwell owners. The majority don't have the time of day to cruise around on internet forums incessantly. A perfect example of this situation: a few posts up. Take a look at the date that user RobC joined this forum: Feb 25, 2005. And for his 17th post, he felt compelled to voice (eloquently, or not) his disapproval of the tone of the disgruntled but vocal minority of Maxwell owners.
He was swiftly disciplined by one of the forum regulars. I doubt he'll be back soon.
This is the precise reason that, while it would be nice, it is not necessarily required that NL directly address the concerns aired on this forum. Honestly, if you were in their shoes, how would you react to such antagonism as has become the regular fare here? They have actually exercised tremendous restraint with regards to this forum and some of its' users. I would've shut it down months ago, were it my company.
Let's be clear: This is merely an explanation, not a defense. I am not denegrating anyone for their own views or opinions. Ask the questions you want to ask. State your opinion (reasonably, please). Try to have a little fun.
Just please don't pretend to represent all of us.
