Hi all,

is it possible to turn cast shadows off an object? (Maya)

I want it to contribute in reflections, refractions, caustics etc. but just cast no shadow.

did you try matte? I'm not sure it will be useful but maybe...

You could hide it from GI which will prevent it from casting shadows and still make it visible through glass, and in reflections, but it won't cast caustics though.

There is an esoteric way of doing this, by rendering a shadow pass and substracting certain parts of that from the beauty pass in post. However that is no mathematical clean solution and rather time intensive, but might work for you
