Recently I got some of these stripes in my renders, and I think I've tracked it down to only appear when I have a tree with thin clip-mapped SSS-leaves in it.



Anyone seen this before?

What could that be?

(I'm using 3.1 beta).

that happend when i used volumetric in v3
than maxwell developpers solved the problem

Can you simplify the scene down to that Single-Sided SSS leaves while keeping the bug?

Hi,

No it seems the tree renders fine alone now when I tried it. Hmm

that thing happened to me a lot, doesn't really matter what maxwell version, when geometry (I work in Maya) got corrupted for some unknown reason.
I just hide a part of the scene and re-render. this way I was able to usually find a mesh that is problematic (sometimes only changing material would work, sometimes re-making the mesh)
