No joy. I manually changed
2e into
2d (which is how my MAC address ends) but still get the licensing error. Doing an ipconfig /all on the Windows 7 side gives me
14-10-9F-DA-3E-2D for MAC address, which is the same as on the OSX side.
So, the question then is, pertaining to the previous post, why the licenser log shows (
expected: 14109fda3e2e, we are: 14109fda3e2d)? Why is it expecting a MAC address that does not exist?
The nextlimit DLOG file throws this up after the tinkering:

So, I deleted all, reinstalled all... and am back with the licensing error on reboot or switch on as before : (
This RLM licensing is awful. I mean, Pro/E, Alias or ANSYS are seriously expensive and outrageously protected (license manager) products, but I never had a problem with my licenses there, going all the way back to the SGI (IRIX) days. And that is a long time ago.
