Hi, I was trying to make a 3d water piece using sea extension, but just couldn't figure out what's the proper way of doing it. I have two questions:
1) is it possible to use sea extension surface (waves) as a cutting plane? So it would be possible to have water volume as a 3d geometry + sea extension as a water surface.
2) or better still, is it possible to use sea extension for 3d volumes? not just as a plane.
I'm using Maxwell plug in for Rhino v5
Would be a great help if someone could give a tip.
Here is my test. I'm using sea extension top surface (with water material) and a simple box below with a volumetric extension. It's kind of okay, but if u look closer, u can sea, that in some parts surface plane either intersects or doesn't touch volume below..
