hello,
i'm trying to use a real glass material in my architectural glass panels, but it's very hard to obtain a good result. i would like to obtain the similar result of the AGS (transparency and reflections) with a double 3d solid panel (4 mm glass + 9 mm air + 4 mm glass) but i have problem to obtain a realistic result (bigger problem to obtain a good transparency using 1.51 Nd).
do you have any suggestion?
thank you,
roy

p.s. could be nice to share real glass materials to use instead of AGS in architectural projects.

hi eric,
you're right! my problem is solved using the "hide from gi" because without this the sun make a shadow over the glass panel . thanks a lot for your suggestion.
why do you think maxwell (that is so precise on the calculation of the gi) have this problem to correct renders a glass panel with sun shadows?

I think, the problem will be solved in the future, but I dont know when. This is why I excercise regularly, so that I might live long enough to see the day. Guess it must be a really tough problem to solve... or maybe its just a spanish manyana thing,
