I was hopping to get some SSS in the fingers ans ears (the thinner parts) ... but ... I screwed up somewhere in the settings :lol: Right now it is all opeque.

I was gonna say I dont see any sss there. It still looks good though. The test I have run so far have been buggy to say the least. It was using an old file though. I am going to start on a new scene and let you all know how it goes. Nice work as always Thomas.

There is no post process at all, and yes it is downsized.

I would set the focus to eyes of the monster. Is it a mistake or a problem of the Rhino plugin?

It took 3.5 hours to render.

The focus is a mistake (good catch). Right now it is focusing at the base.

how come your picture has no noise? what's the sampling Number? it doesn't look like environment is set up sky. does the different light affect noise?

Its a pure product shot.
No skydome
No physical sky.

Sampling level (I think) was 12
