Hi,
just got back doing a renderjob. Been trying all day to get a small file rendered out of Sketchup, regretfully without much luck:
1. On export the resolution settings that I filled in the camera box are lost.
2. When I change the location and the North direction flipped or mirrrored components in my model are dislocated or rotated as well. I have to copy the model in a new file and then it works again as long as I keep the location/north unchanged and unrotated. I am in Holland and can only render the default location in the US if I want to keep my model in tact.
3. working from Studio is best and change the location and sun in Studio. Actually, I consider the export to render from SU as not functional at the moment.
4. This job in hours is about 3 hours modeling, 5 hours export to Maxwell render. I could have saved myself a lot of time exporting to Studio at once. The 5 hours is just to find out the bug is triggered by changing the location and/or North direction in SU.
MacPro, 8 core 4Gb.
Hope someone has some workarounds.
