I am endlessly fascinated with your renders, Jotero!

You have shown us many models generated from 'minimal surfaces' and other shapes of this mathematical nature, and to that I have a question:

What field of mathematics do you have to have expertise or proficiency in to generate some of the shapes you have shown us? I have a passing interest in such things, but if I knew what direction to study so that I could understand some of the shapes you make, I would have myself a new hobby :D
