Hey guys - went to bed and didn't read the posts until now.

Did some of you guys actually compare a ferrari to a $495 renderer?

Once again I'll stress the "Be reasonable" aspect of my past posting.

Well, I would it call plain stupidity to believe in that date, because the last dates didn't hold much water. NL got the saying "Underpromise, overdeliver" somehow messed up.

If we're wrong this time, that's fine. If we're right, our lowered expectations reduce the pain at least.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but all they missed where the useless RC1..4 releases, isn't it? You could call that a blessing.
Very true, maybe windows users are the Red Headed step children. :)

The complete silence the Mac users have been thru is amazing. NL should take a moment and address their concerns, along with everyone elses for that matter.

And NO, this doesn't take away from their development. For damn sake, don't they have a secretary that could take down a short response.

They have. She is a heavy breathing girl, never seen without a mask and listening to the name Mike.

... still no undo button  ...
Maybe "Save current scene state" and "revert to previous state" is a function, reserved for "Maxwell Pro" version?

Mverta: I just saw the 'masterclass' post. Is it permissable for you to kick RC5 things off with a basic getting started type of guide, including explanatory screen shots, in your 'masterclass' before RC5 is released :?:

Actually, i am interested in a Linux version, i am in the process of converting from Mac to Linuc, but i am stuck in a windows limbo. Which is irritating. So is a linux version due soon?

It's possible... I've asked for clearance to do this.

mverta: Thank you. If you get permission it may help prevent many simple technical/operation related posts being made. Time will tell.
