That suggestion has the right intentions, however Mike has mentioned a few times that throughout a single day of testing, different features are turned on and off many times. So unless they only ever make announcements right before a new version is released, it may just cause more trouble. They might announce "yadda yadda yadda but emitters are disabled." and everyone would freak out, only for emitters to be turned back on 30 minutes later.
