Hi there,
I've been using Sketchup pro to model houses. I use the Sketchup plugin to apply textures and setup the lighting in sketchup then I export the maxwell scene file to a network PC to render on five linked computers. Every now and then a texture isn't saved properly so one small part of the final scene comes out looking grey. Normally I re-render the small region on one computer and then photoshop it onto the full scene.
What I want to know is how to network render that small region. If I open the maxwell scene in MW Render and select the region only that one computer running MW Render is used to render the file. If I export the maxwell scene file to MW render, then select a region and then chose network render the whole scene is rendered, not just the region. How do I maintain that region when switching to network render mode?
Thanks for any suggestions,
James
