Hello,
I have had a look in the documentation but I was unable to find any decent info on this.
I am trying to figure out how to apply multiple materials to one object in Studio. I usually use 3dsmax but on this occasion I have decided to use studio.
I have set a different Mat Id to a selection of polys in max and then imported the .obj into studio.
In case you were wondering, I am trying to apply a roughness map to the outside of a glass but leave the inside clean.
Cheers

I figured out that this can be done using triangle groups but it doesn't seem to work with refractive materials... All I want to do apply a roughness map to the outside but none to the inside. Can this be done without uvw unwrapping the whole thing?

Sorry Mihai, I managed to get it working.
I was getting very odd behavior. The smooth mat rendered black, no refraction but only reflections. The mapped roughness mat rendered evenly rough all over.
I still don't know what caused it but maybe I accidentally deleted a small face.
Thanks anyway

Jules
