mental ray has a dirt shader , and an ambient occlusion one for ages now....it`s not even a plugin,,,,it`s in the basic shader library shipped with max , maya......vray-``dirt` is new ...and what a surprise ,,,,,maxwell the unbiased renderer want`s a dirty aproach....to reality....
