Tom, yes I will work on the glossiness and bump, I think I'm gonna use a light leather bump on the panel, and try to give the yoke rod a light scraped bump

Hmm, the closeups looks very CG now, because it is to perfect. To less round edges.
And here we would need noisy bumps and in Rhino it is not possible to use it at polysurfaces. Achja.

Nico, did you use the default environment parameters? For me, the default options looks to blueish. But it is a question of personal taste. I like to use for sun set mood a more orange look. If I remember me right, turbidity 8 make it more warm.

Hi Micha,

you are right about texturing and bump maps, I hope we will be able to do that in the 1.0 stand alone version

about environment parameters, you are right it is much to blueish, Thanks about your tip on turbidity, I will stop this render and will try it on 8

This one is going to be more realistic (I think) with a little bump map on the switches.
I have placed a small light in the master switch, and I have used the dof effect to make it more real...
No pp.

Maybe Tom knows this one, will the light clear up more if I give it more time?
It is now at ( [15h 56m 18s] of [150h 0m 0s] , current sampling level : 17.42 ) as you can see I have given it 150 hours, I hope this will be enough

I am looking for a good bump map for the panel that gives it a slight citrus skin effect, any sugestions?

As always CC are very welcome.

Thanks, Nico.

very nice:) but i can see some polys on the switches...maybe you should invest a few more polys in that sensitive areas

Hi Nico,

As everybody else already told you, all your pictures look amazing.
Maybe a stupid question but i'm curious to know in what software are you modeling all this and also did you make this textures or you got them somewhere??

Keep it in the air Nico... :)
