I understand - I think.
When setting a plastic colour , set a 'specular RGB colour' that is just a little lighter than the 'set RGB' colour.
Dex - What URough and VRough Absoption Scattering settings do you use for your plastics?
Do you know what the 'Specular' check box does that is in of Plastic Material Manager ((bottom left side)
I have built a scene with a reflection panel in it, to get reflections on my part. In last weeks release I set it up using a custom SW texture and then using a Maxwell difuse material with the Diffuse Check box ticked, and in latest 8th Aug release it does not work - has anyone else ......
Aargh it a SW problem - the thing works in a part file and the picture(texture) appears but it is missing from the sw assembly file !! AArrgg

Solidworks again has broken !!
