i use two gradient procedural texture for the opacity of volumetric ; i disable one and enable the second; the result is black render and when i removed the disabled procedural the render was clean

Hi Seghier,
when i try to open the dropbox link it says
Error (404)

I created a dropbox account just in case but to no avail.
Help

EDIT
if we apply material with opacity texture without set uv channel to the volumetric, the studio force closed
There was a bug in the procedurals that, when you had a material with a texture and the procedural object (volumetric, particles, etc....) didn't have a uv channel, studio or maxwell crashed when rendering. It has been fixed just this morning. It will be published in the next update.

thanks for fixing the bug . and parameters of uv set of volumetric reseted when we close the studio and we clone it . the clone does't have uv channel

i convert the procedural gradient to image and tried again but studio crashed
other question
i use volumetric inside volumetric ; and apply rough glass to them( i will post render soon)
i see in the render like thin horizontal and vertical lines ( color effect )

Got the file, thanks!

I'm investigating why the parameters of the uv channel change after loading, and why cloning the procedural doesn't preserve uv channels.

Thanks a lot for the report.

In general, if there is a material with a texture (either image or procedural texture) applied to a procedural geometry (particles, volumetric,...), this resulted in a crash while rendering. This has been fixed now.

Cheerios.
