Please note: These sets will not work as intended in SketchUp on the Mac due to a limitation of SketchUp builds on that platform.

There is a library I've created/updated for the RAL color system -- The colors for these materials have been based on spectral measurements for the RAL CLASSIC color set, for the closest possible match to the real world colors.

In total it contains 2014 MXM materials -- in 11 categories. Each category has been uploaded to the Maxwell Resources website, you can download each by clicking the category names below:
Each category contains the same 183 colors (with 1 bonus checker pattern MXM for the Tiles category).

These MXM category folders should be made to reside in the following folder on your system (create this folder structure if it does not already exist):
C:\Program Files\Next Limit\Maxwell 2\materials database\mxm files\RAL Libraries\* category name*

I have also created the SketchUp Material Libraries that are linked to these MXM's so you can simply apply the SketchUp materials as you would any normal SketchUp Material and it will automatically render as the matching MXM.

Here are the SketchUp material files: Maxwell RAL Libraries.zip
These folders should be installed into your normal Sketchup Materials folder.

I hope this will help the new users get going with Maxwell for SketchUp more quickly.

Best,
Jason.

Say Jason, did you tweak these materials again - or are these the same sets as those which you shared for a short time before releasing your Learning Materials?

Thanks again, Holger

I do believe that it will automatically do so once you point one of them to the correct directory, but not being able to test this I can only refer you to JD on the matter.

You could also try adding the the directory to the paths section of the plugin to see if that helps.

Best,
Jason.

The attribute data is just a simple string attached to the SketchUp material using standard SketchUp Ruby API methods. I am also on Win 7 x64, and SketchUp 8.0.11752, and I cannot reproduce your crash, using the material you uploaded at sketchucation, regardless if I am using en-US or de-DE locale, and regardless if the plugin is installed or not. So sorry, but I don't have any information for you about this.

Thanks JD,
But I had hoped some others would have the same problem.
Will do some tests with my other Plugins...since I copied the German Plugin folder into the English Version, it crashes there too. Maybe a Plugin conflict.

Just solved. There is a conflict between SuPodium Render and Maxwell linked Materials. They are informed.

edit: The conflict comes up with Driving Dimensions from Ledas and the new Sketchup Bim Plugin too. Took a while to find out.
