Please note: These sets will not work as intended in SketchUp on the Mac due to a limitation of SketchUp builds on that platform.
There is a library I've created/updated for the RAL color system -- The colors for these materials have been based on spectral measurements for the RAL CLASSIC color set, for the closest possible match to the real world colors.
In total it contains 2014 MXM materials -- in 11 categories. Each category has been uploaded to the Maxwell Resources website, you can download each by clicking the category names below:
These MXM category folders should be made to reside in the following folder on your system (create this folder structure if it does not already exist):
C:\Program Files\Next Limit\Maxwell 2\materials database\mxm files\RAL Libraries\* category name*
I have also created the SketchUp Material Libraries that are linked to these MXM's so you can simply apply the SketchUp materials as you would any normal SketchUp Material and it will automatically render as the matching MXM.
Here are the SketchUp material files: Maxwell RAL Libraries.zip
These folders should be installed into your normal Sketchup Materials folder.
I hope this will help the new users get going with Maxwell for SketchUp more quickly.
Best,
Jason.
