Basically the contrast of the render is very, very low using the same settings as per version 1.7. If I adjust the various sliders to increase the contrast (monitor gamma etc) then the contrast is far too high and the image very dark in the shadows. It just doesn't seem possible to match what I'm used to. Am I missing something ?
I'll post an image later when I have two directly comparable renders.
I'm using V2.0 on OS 10.6.1 with C4D 11.0

For some unknown reason it's now impossible for me to replicate the image quality using V2. I've been using MWR since the early alpha versions and have never had problems like this.I worked it outEven though the Simulens checkboxes are ALL SWITCHED OFF, it's still rendering with the unchecked default values. If I check the boxes, reduce the values back to 0, the render goes back to normal.
