Here is a 95% completed view. Just a few more grasses on the right next to the building and try to light up the red lights on top of the fire trucks. It should be complete. This was a pain in the A#%!!!!
So much work was needed to be done on the fire trucks to make them Maxwell ready.
I get the "black dots of death" when I use sky dome with sun enabled. This started occurring when the fire truck were introduced. I was rendering just fine with sun enabled before the fire trucks came into the picture. I removed the trucks and cut and pasted the model into a new window but it still would render the black dots. And there are no SSS materials. Sometime if I click on an object my app. just closes. Has anyone experienced this....I use Form-Z but maybe this has occurred with other modeling programs as well. My file gets corrupted. Usually when it is heavily loaded with geometry. I try to type things into dialogue boxes and the text disappears. Or for instance, as an example, I move the slider or type in a number for sky dome intensity and rubber bands to 0. It is very frustrating. I never experience this on simple files. Only on big projects with lots of geometry. Anyway, I always seem to muddle through however frustrating it becomes. I still like the outcome though.
Also, the red lights on top of the fire trucks are actually baked on textures. I tried to create an MXI emitter for the texture for the red lights using the baked on texture map. After I apply the MXI emitter to the model, it always crashes Maxwell Render when I send the file to render. So I am not sure what I am ding wrong there. I know it is vauge but can anyone give me any insight as to perhaps why when I use the mxi emitter I get the crash?
