Yes, i did remove them from the MXM Gallery and for a couple of reasons i don't wanna mention here now. However Kyriakos, as you want those two materials i link to them here from my own site. If you have any trouble with them or any questions you can contact me for support.

Btw, why are so few of you guys posting materials for the current challenge in progress ? only 9 materials are posted so far, and the prizes are great. Come on now, create and upload and win yourself a PSP thingy.

Hi Maximus,

Did you find the 16 bit maps take way longer to render than 8bit? And would it be impractical to use Adaptive and 16 bit maps on low poly geometry? Like a single polygon plane?

One more :) if you guys don't mind.. a 16bit landscape greyscale map generated with and exported from World Machine. Displaced a 16x16 poly plane in C4D with Maxwell 1.6, rendertime was about an hour.
