I think the whole debate of whether it should be 1.5 or 1.2 is a non-issue.. look at Adobe, they add a couple of updates and you end up paying through your nose again.. companies like Autodesk are even worse.

Just spent about 1 hour looking for material paths!!! I hope this problem is going to be sorted out in 1.5.

I'm on the verge of digging out the programming tools myself...

I'm hoping (and assuming) that 'all' of the path issues in mr are corrected. It's not just material paths that operate non-standard. I think the only file dialogue that properly remembers where you were is the mxcl file open. Every other dialoque forgets where you were - causing lot's of unnecessaryt navigation.

zoppo,

traditionally means you are flying without a flight plan, 'by the seat of your pants'. Responding to the environment, also suggests that such responses are reactionary and leaning toward 'reacting in survival mode'. Like someone in the middle of a crisis, just pointing the ship in the direction that seems safest or most sensible at the time.

NL during the alpha/beta phase took many turns. For example when I signed on, the focus was on the plug-ins. I bought maxwell with the understanding it was primarily a plugin. As soon as studio was capable of booting (and a bit before that actually) - as I recall RC1 wouldn't even install on many people's rigs - The plugins were passe, and some were even discontinued...

Just an observation. No insult intented.

I just would like to have all the basic wishes done before other tools are developped, am i crazy?
I just would like to know what will exactly be the 1.5, am i crazy?

I don't care the studio, since the start, and the new policy, as i only have one computer (like the majority of people here)

Again, it's not against users, and sure that i say here what lot of other users think of, or i am crazy

Again, Maxwell is great, and i just want to think the same in the future

Yeah but you're comparing products like Photoshop which are I'd say much more finished products than Maxwell is. What you're doing in this case can be objectively described as comparing apples to oranges.
