Max, thank you for your comments. Interesting. I want to try to understand your enthusiasm of your words. You are using Maxwell very long. You like Maxwell very much. For what did you use Maxwell (Rhinoll)? Did you use Maxwell for professional use? Is is possible to see a current gallery of your work?

Frances: You're right, i should be banned for what i said by the rulebook. Be my guest to make sure it happens.

Micha: No need to try to play that card with me, it's not gonna work. This is NOT about me, this is about YOU so now please go ahead and show us your marvelous Maxwell 1.x renderings Micha. We can't wait to see your masterpieces. Come on, don't be shy sir.. ;)

Strange logic, Max. I don't use Maxwell now and would like to see more results of the current final release. I have used Maxwell Beta a half year until the RC chaos and than the VfR Beta for a half year. I have used both engines a half year.

Good Max, I think we could realy stop here. Maybe other users like to show some renderings later. I like renderings more than words.

Banning people isn't my job and it isn't my thing. Equitable treatment of others is.

Micha: Basically what you wanna see are bad images done with 1.1 as it will then give you even more meat to your Vray grinder, if someone happen to make good images you rate that as a random lucky strike. So if anyone lacks logic and common sense that would be you.

If you don't even use Maxwell anymore then why do you bother coming back here all the time ? what's your purpose of revisiting this place ? you sure gotta have some sorta agenda you're following, as this type of behaviour is surely based upon something, there wouldn't be all this smoke if there were no fire slowly burning down below. Maybe the flames aren't visible just yet, but the smoke is.. if you understand what i'm saying. :)

Frances: No worries, i'm sure it'll be sorted out within time due to the complaints dropping in from those who find it entertaining reading this silly thread :)

Chris: Hehehe :D as always, thanks for the good laugh

Simple answer: I have payed for Maxwell and would like to use it for special cases. For example for heavy caustic stuff without time limit. I suppose so that Maxwell will not be the allrounder for me, but could be a useful tool from time to time.

ahhh , I love that... I am the Gran son of a Baker.. I love bread... I am VERY difficult when it comes to choose one bakery...

lemme tell you that I run from chain bakery... I only go to the best... I made bread quite a few times too... even in a wood oven... you can't beat that...

Micha, that little phrase you have input here shows a great intelligence.. :D

Gran son of a baker ... wood oven ... sounds so romantic. :)

A good trick to get tastful bread is, to grinding the meal immediately befor making the dough. So the full flavour can be keeped in the bread. I like a mix of wheat, spelt and rye grist.
I know the problem to find a good bakery. Here in germany shops for organic food are good adress to get good bread.

Hi,

I'm sorry for the abuse you have suffered, I think your questions are valid... My problem with your thread is that i don't think you know what you want.

If you want to know whether maxwell is usable in the daily workflow, then by definition you are asking for work from the masters, and you seemed to be given your answers early on.

If you want to know how easy 1.1 is to get photo-real, from someone with limited knowledge (such as myself) then that is a very different and difficult question (though I believe you have had some answers).

Perhaps the way to get more images and fewer words would be for you to post a vray image with your rhino file and textures. We can have a challenge... People would describe their knowledge and time taken and we could all draw interesting conclussions.

Hope this helps,
render engines and Maxwell
