Yes I’m saying that the man committing violence is trying to solve a problem but so is the guy taking his wife out to a nice dinner after 20 years of marriage. Just don't underestimate the word 'problem.' For the one committing violence the problem is huge while the man taking his wife out to dinner it's just a problem of closeness to his wife.
Problems are perceived as subtle things for intelligent people and insurmountable things for the not so intelligent.
Some men aren't very smart. Some men are successful at life, love or what have you. But I still think it's solution driven. The majority of men that don't beat their wives have found better solutions while the man beating his wife can't see past getting her to stop her current action that has in his mind a need to stop.Frances wrote:Wow, I totally missed your equating violence with solutions.
