Wow! I haven't been on the forum all day, and didn't expect this many responses . Thanks for all of the wonderful feedback! It's all valuable stuff.
I'm having to agree that the scene really is lacking something on the emotional side. I was thinking about putting the girls hands in front of her face, portraying her crying, and maybe running away. ... a discarded boquet of flowers on the ground.... ???
I did have a second rendering of this going on during the day, with more motion blur in the train. I'm tring to find a decent ballence where there is a definate sense of speed and motion, where I didn't loose too much detail on the train passengers. I also moved the guy a bit closer to the center so he dosen't end up in front of the train window (he sorta dissappears after the postwork because of the dark jacket).
I was also thinking during the day that I may take a whole different approach to this - by making it more humerous. The Wallis "Dress to kill" add campaign came to mind. I've got a couple of ideas rolling around along this theme that I'm gonna have to try out. Like a couple making out in the street with a truck bearing down on them....... You know, that whole
consumed-with-passion-with-imminant-death/danger sorta thing...
Anyway, thanks again for all the comments. This is exactly why this is a WIP. This was hastily thrown together on my initial inspiration, and wanted a good reality check. Much Appreciated!
