I'll have to let some of the stuff sink in, I can't wait to play with that realtime light adjuster :)

Thanks Tom for the answers too, yes Mike almost identical.

Ok, after thinking about it, Multi-Light Illumination Control and Lighting Presets and Material Wizard are the best things that are happening that we know. his are the most basic problems with all of the renderings engines and now they are solved by MaxwellRender.

Now lets just see what copycat render engine is going to implement this in the short time.

is there a plan to implement some kind of multimaterial with ids? it would clean up the process if work with many objects and each several materials

P.S. By the way, anisotropy IS already added, and fully mappable!
Yes, my mistake I 've seen that, the word "should" means that it had to be done, nice to see this done...

By the way, another VERY IMPORTANT wish...
Procedurals (noise, smoke etc like 3dsMAX maps)

There are 2 solutions available for this. Weightmapping and transmittance mapping. Weightmapping was flawless and we're about to fix the sun shadow issue with transmittance mapping. No problem so far.

Yes, there are several plans for many similar features for Studio but we're focused deeply on the core. First the render engine at its best, then the ornament comes.

Well done Mike, some genuinely useful communication happening again - can't you just feel the dark-side fading?!

Glad you took my advice  - only kidding.

Looking forward to next weeks announcement  - not kidding.

Not counting the proverbial chickens but looks like the absolute business

nice one - Julian
