dos window opens for a second and shuts down and the mxs file won't open in the studio ...

The Cinema plug is F#&ked up here too.
I will be happy if I can get the stand alone to do something except just f'in "stand there"!

I am experiencing the exact same thing as dynaraton. Nothing imports. Even new .mxs files generated using the max plugin. I have nothing in the scene because nothing will open or import and hitting render does nothing at all. No dialog box or anything.

Also Tools > Materials List opens up a new 3D viewport.

Ctrl P worked for a preview, but when I chose "render" from the drop down menu in the view port it crashed.

Looking into stuff one at a time, everyone... it's obviously very early for Maxwell, and you'll understand why once you get into what its feature set is about... hang tight...

Is there a way to customize the navigation buttons. I cant seem to find any preferences for customizing the settings. I dont want to hold alt to navigate. I would like to set it like my current 3d app where I have middle mouse button rotates view, rmb pans, and scroll on middle mouse button zooms in and out.

Hi guys, in Maxwell Studio make sure you have created a camera and you have applied a material to every object in your scene, this should stop some of the crashes i have found
