this is an office interior rendered straight from SU with almost no other touches..

I usually use Studio in my workflow but I would love to use only a plugin.
so I've got a question..

why Sketchup plugin don't look like a plugin for Rhino or Maya for ex.?

OK - the answer is fairly simple. The main point is that there is very good SDK in case of both Rhino and Maya why there is very little in terms of SDK in SketchUp. There is an export SDK (this is being used to export) but when it comes to handling other issue (e.g. materials, cameras, integrated rendering) than the only option there is Ruby script - this can be used but it is hard to work with when trying to provide nice and easy to use interfaces for the user...

To turn this into something productive - what do you see as the biggest missing pieces on the side of SketchUp plugin? What are the biggest limitations which prevent you to work there?

Thank you.
