The SketchUp plugin still requires the location to be set to the UK to get shadows to look right and the pixel aspect quite often exports at .75 resulting in a squashed image. The AGS still seems really screwy with the plugin still resulting in black renders.

On the bright side Studio seems to work great. These deficiencies can be overcome in Studio pretty easily.

I'm posting this here because the the Mac and the SketchUp sections of the forum seem a bit underwhelming at the moment.

Sorry Jake, I moved this to the SketchUp sub-forum. We do look at all the sub forums and not just at the main Maxwell Render one. The Maxwell Render sub forum is extremely crowded and so it is important to keep things as organized as possible.

Thanks.

That's fine Nicole, but there have only been a handful of posts in the MacOSX and SketchUp forums in the last few months. I figured they had been abandoned and left for dead.

I remember this being a problem on Intel Macs but it has been fixed in plugin version 1.7. Can you please check what is the difference in shadow time in your case? What is your default location?

I was not able to reproduce this - is this consistent on your machine? Do you have reproducible steps?

I assume you mean Architectural Glass Solution materials here. I will test this ASAP but if you do have sample SU projects showing this please let me know.

Last question - your signature says SU5. I assume you are on SU6 using the latest version of the plugin. Is this correct? Also are you on Intel or PPC Mac (I am asking as there are some differences in SU on different versions especially when it comes to handling dates...)
