My workflow is SU6 to maxwell studio to render on OSX. Whenever I use a material that is tiled, it gets distorted and stretched differently across different surfaces. I tried messing with the scale and the x/y offset to no avail. What causes this problem? Is it a modeling issue or is it a material issue? Thanks

sometimes you need to explode a component or group to get decent texture positions exported out of SU. You can also resassign in Studio. Thats what I do often.
It should not happen often though. I get that only with free form objects. Most of my hardsurface models get exported into Studio rather fine. Post an example if you can.

Notice that the tecture on the floor seems really stretched while the wood on the vertical surfaces looks like tiles.[/img]

Mate I've had this problem in earnst many times. A very successful work around is to make a component of everything in your model but the light (to cut down render times) and copy the component to somewhere out of scene. the new component will suffer the material breakup and tiling issue but the original wont!!!
