I haven't seen more than 100 and think there will be about 20 to 40 projects really worth considering for the second stage. I must say the combination of the ideas of several plans seems interesting.
I thought that a small bridge in connection to Asplund and a walkway underneath to the park is interesting, I came up with that myself during the project but rejected it because I thought that idea lacked the quality to provide for a united new building to be seen as one with Asplund. Now looking at the submission I have to admit many did come out well with such a bridge.
Most plans are masterpieces of their own without much connnection to Asplund or even the city. Many also do not really embrace Asplund as an important part of the scheme and focus completely to the new building or buildings. I find many without the annexes much better than those with especially when I see a new building cramped in between the annexes and Asplund.
I will go to the exhebition to have a look. I am no longer thinking I have a winning plan and so I am also going to enjoy Stockholm and the surroundings this time but spend an afternoon at the exhibit.
