I may have found a bug that's related to different versions of Windows. I have a series of MXI files that I can batch process on Windows 7, but not on Windows 10. I even tried running Maxwell as administrator on Windows 10, but that didn't resolve the issue, so its not related to UAC. If I make a simple scene from scratch, then it appears that I can batch process those MXI files on Windows 10, but not the MXI files that are part of my current project. I'm using multi-light in intensity mode with just a handful of emitter based materials.

I'll follow up with a link to download a subset of the MXI files that are affected. I just wanted to throw this out there in case anyone else was seeing anything similar. This is all happening on Maxwell 3.2.1.4. Thanks!

Here's a link to 3 of the MXI files. I included an emixer file in case anyone wanted to test with the targetted settings. If it makes your output almost entirely white, then it got the light list out of sync with the emixer data.

Oh, and about the lighting values... please don't judge :) I'm mixing interior and exterior lighting, so they are quite unrealistic.

NOTE: The file is about 1.1GB in size, so it may take some time to download depending on your available bandwidth.

There is a bug on the MXI i/o that affects things such as mxi batch process or mxi preview in windows explorer. The next early build (3.2.1.5) will fix that. We hope to release it next week, please be patience.

Thanks for the update Brany! Much appreciated! Plus I know I'm not crazy now, or at least my machine isn't :)

That's good news about the (hopefully) near release of 3.2.1.5! I know I've seen a disproportionate amount of disgruntled users in the forums lately. Hopefully there's quite a few goodies in there that will "calm the storm" so to speak. I'm definitely looking forward to reviewing the changelog for that release.

Thanks again Brany!

This appears to be resolved with Maxwell Render 3.2.1.5. I can successfully batch process MXI files now, even if they were created from MR 3.2.1.4. Thanks!
