Windows 8.1 x64
This is a similar thread to what others have posted. Have a V3 floating license up an running on 1st computer on a small network. License server has been activated and is running on local machine, everything works fine locally on 1st computer. Firewall has been configured to allow primary Maxwell apps to communicate.
Go to 2nd computer, try to access license server which is already running. Allow the firewall to allow Maxwell apps to communicate. Launch any of the Maxwell apps, selecting the option to access the license server that is already running. Licensing fails. It appears that its not even really searching effectively on the network, based on the speed of the response. I've used the correct IP address of 1st computer, and also tried the full and partial computer names of the 1st computer. I've tried the default port 5053 and others. Exact same result. Maxwell apps on 2nd computer instantly fail to find the license server when they should be searching on the network for the license server.
Any ideas?
