Hi,
I am looking into options for remotely installing/updating and configuring our Maxwell installations.
Installations and updates looks easy with the silent option.

Is there a way to run licenseactivator.exe from the commandline with some flag to specify the licensing options?

Cheers, Florian

As far as I know, there aren't any command line options, but you don't need to relicense Maxwell every time you run an update.

If you are dealing with a floating license, it's really easy. You have to do the licensing in only one computer - the one that's running RLM. For the others simply copy paste the maxwell_license.lic file to the appropriate folder, and voila, they are licensed. This file only contains a single line, the name of the RLM computer and which port it should use to connect to it. The 'real' license file which will be created only on the RLM computer when you run the license activator is "maxwell_suite_floating.lic". For all the other computers though, you don't even need to run the license activator, just simply copy the maxwell_license.lic to the appropriate folder (depending on if it's Win/OSX/Linux)
