Hello Forumpeople,
I am having some problems ith my HP Z-Book and my favorit toy Maxwell Render V3.
Every model i try to render opens fine in Studio an can be worked on however, after doing some work in Studio it crashes without specific reason.
After crashing i can reopen the file, everything seems to be oke, but selecting something makes maxwell crash again.

I've reinstalled (Clean) but without any result.
Does someone recognises this behaviour or have any idea how to investigate the cause?

I investigated further and it seems to be something with the viewport settings.
When viewport is set to flat no crash appears.

Can you please check your Studio preferences, under File>Preferences>Viewport rendering

Under the Performance section there, try unchecking Smooth Antialiasing, nr of lights and textures resolution. Also try turning off Vertex Buffers. Restart Studio after you make any changes here.

I have a problem too...
I am C4D user,in the viewport sometimes ''Fire window'' freezing I am forced to restart C4D...
If I do not change the output at the place of registration problem continues.
I hope I can tell,sorry for my little English.

Gokhan, I would post this in the C4D forum instead where the plugin developer has a better chance to see it, and help you. I would mention there if it always happens, or with a certain scene, and exactly the steps you do for reproducing the freeze.

Hello mihai,
Changing the settings makes studio stable.
Can you tell if the problem then is hardware or software related?

Well it seems Studio doesn't like your graphics card. Maybe it's the vertex buffers. Laptop graphics cards, older perhaps, tend to have problems with that. There is not much we can do about that I'm afraid.

It actually is the newest nvidia card but i get your point.
Changing the prefs works for me, thanks for your help

I think I have a problem with my computer...some fonts are damaged my OS,
I will fixed and try again.
C4D and Maxwell Render is very slow now...
