Hello

I have problem with volumetric particles rendering. Please se attached image. On the final render vertical stripes/shapes in a steam are visible. Could someone explain that ?

Which version of V3 are you using? If you haven't updated to the latest build, you can download it from here: www.maxwellrender.com/betas

That render comes from 3.0.1.0 version but today I had updated maxwell to 3.0.1.3 before I add that post and made test renders for both versions. Still the same problem.

Would it be possible to send me a simplified version of that scene for debugging? Just remove anything that's not needed but still shows the stripes. You can PM me the link to the scene (use Pack & Go so all textures are also added).

I am not sure whether those algorithms are connected, but I've seen vertical stripes on procedural noise textures:

It looks like the vertical stripes are coming from the geometry behind, are they refracted? If so there is no bug here.

ababak - it looks similar but they are two different argorithms I think.
eric nixon - yes, maybe but not only regular vertical stripes were rendered
