Mark: I can make another guess and i think Oscar is in the front row wearing a red shirt, the 2nd guy from the left.

Correct me if my guess is wrong.

Nope.. that's the boss! Mr Victor the great Gonzalez! :o) And With a white shirt behind the woman in blue is Mr Ignacio Vargas (the other Boss)

The guy in the center with a ribbed shirt is a M~R programmer, I forgot his name (Juan?). And the Woman on his right is a Python Script master for real flow, her name is Bea. I see one or two other familiar faces but I don't see Oscar there. I really don't remember the name of anyone else. Great people though! It was fun to hang out with them here in Boston a couple of years ago.

I was impressed how rumble these guys are. They deserve every single shine of fame!

Congratulations! I hope you guys keep expanding and doing what you do best. Outstanding software!

I think Oscar is like Charlie from Charlie's Angels. You hear what he says and you might catch a glimpse of his hand closing a door... or was that a ghost?

About the new skymodel which btw looks great! the visuals from it looks a bit like the sky that Crysis has, very much similar quality with the exception of the sunbeams (guess it won't support that in Maxwell hehe). Anyhow, take a look at these two screenshots from Crysis and see for yourself, quite similar ain't they.. :)

Is haze part of the plan? Sum beams are diffraction by the water vapor, dust, air, etc.

What a cool news! The new sky model will be so cool... The new brightness, contrast, min/max clamp options will save so much time... will be so cool! But the most shocking news is seeing Victor and co. with bow tie!

Hey everyone,

Thanks for your kind words! We wouldn't be where we are today with the great support from our users...
OK, I'll end speculation: Juan's in the middle with the ribbed sweater... on his right is Beatriz, I'm on his left, Victor on the left with the red shirt, Ignacio on the right in the white shirt, behind the girl.

Cheers!

Nicole

the sky model looks really promising. I hope, outside renders won't turn out too blue if sunlight is switched off ...
and please make an option to control the sharpness and density of the sunlight shadow.

There are no options in nature.... Sunlight shadow is as it should be, so an option to control it makes it unreal
Although I don't mind having some control over the look of the sky model.

I'm unsure whether this is the right place to ask, so y'all forgive me if it isn't. :?
What's NL's upgrade policy? In other words: how much will yours truly have to shell out for this (promising!) update?

Also, has the "rotated components" issue been resolved? (I find this one particulary annoying.)

That new MXED and me are gonna be real close friends.
