hi,

by installing deinstalling installing deinstalling....... of the different versions i`ve no reinstalled beta version. but the renderer produces again lots of black dots. i think with correct geometrie and axxis this was a solved bug.
am i having the wrong pluign? isnt 0.6b the latest edition???

yes, the black dots.. they were still there with the beta and the last plugin (i don´t know now because i´m not in my office, but i think it was called 06c, get the july edition from the download page).

i´ve experienced that the black dots even appeared with "correct" geometry.
the only thing i can recommend you is to try to optimize your model in cinema by aligning normals, optimizing button and un-triangulating.
and do that back and forth! as sometimes a geometry needs to be un-triangulated before it can be properly optimized...

i went back to beta as well and am having the same problems...

ive checked the geometrie with higher effort than it took to modell the scene. its horrible.

in the dl area there is only the latest plugin - the onliest i have on my hd is version 0,6b.
can i use the new plugin????????

You cannot use the new plugin with the beta render, I was confused about this too, on the download site there are 2 C4D plugs and the older one says it is for Mac's but it works on both platforms. So far I have only been able to render anything with the beta verion. CineMaxwell 0.6c is the latest "working" version.
