Hi my friends, I have a really serious problem with new version of Mayall When I open Maya 7 and choose Maxwell render preview I get this error:

"Error: Wrong number of arguments on call to maxwellPreviewRender."

And it stops and shows nothimg more

Please Help me, i really need it

Here is a fix Ultrasonic PM me.

check the script editor when you press the render button...maya executes the following command:
maxwellPreviewRender 640 480 1 1 persp " -layer defaultRenderLayer"

Because of Maya7 Render layers it adds the >>>" -layer defaultRenderLayer"<<<

Just copy the previous part (maxwellPreviewRender 640 480 1 1 persp) and paste it in your commandline of maya and hit enter (substitute persp with your cameraShapeName)....should work...

Otherwise just use the render button on the shelf instead of the menu bar.

I was using the regular render button in the status line, and it only seems to work if you use the render button on the Maxwell shelf
