Victor has made a comment that the plugins will be updated in his last announcement.
I will see what the outcome is when this is done, if there is no c4d work, then I will as moderator bring your concerns to their attention.
But to be able to best represent our user base, I need to know just how much of our user base represents the total Maxwell render user base from the VIP section (820 users by my count).
Please check in if you are C4D user and have at least one Maxwell Render license.
To check in, just post a response and be counted.
If our numbers are small, then I cannot reasonably ask for more preference to the development of the C4D plugin than there already is.
If the C4D base is a strong representation, then I can at least ask for some information on the development, and see if it is possible to ask for some help from a few talented C4D developers such as Remotion, Samir, 3D Attack or anyone if they would be willing to help and see if NL could help them out with some kind of reasonable support for the work. I am not even sure any of the developers I listed would be interested, but it is worth another try to appeal to them and see what their response would be.
I am only interested in seeing Maxwell Render succeed and succeed well with C4D users.

Post subject: Maxwell RC1 issues
Dear friends,
We understand the frustration with RC1, we are not happy too. The software has a great potential as you will see soon, however the pressure to release a first persion plus a wrong project schedule has lead us to this situation. I am confident than Maxwell will become stable very fast, as there are many small annoying bugs very easy to fix. The render engine requires some fine tuning now undergoing. As you can see in some examples, previous 30 hours results can be obtained now in 3 hours.
We are going to work very hard in the next days to provide continuous updates plus the rest of the missing plugins. The beta-testing team is really doing a great job sending feedback.
Again, we apologize for this situation and we will consider a kind of compensation for all the current customers. We are devoted to this job, in the bad and good times.
Thank you,
Victor
