Hello Andretto.
These are the best render I have seen so far.
I am into furniture, and I particularly like the composition, framing, and styling of your pictures. Real professional styling job.
Now a few questions : I am particularly interested in the first interior shots.
Do you use skydome or natural light ? What sort of settings ?
Could you give hints on your windows openings layout and or the color settings of your white walls ?
Also, could you be more specific on the render times ? My impression so far is that when you use natural light you can get good results, but the rendering time is huge.
I understand the 100 h are because of the sss through the curtains. Is that rights ?
Congratulations again and with thanks for your help.

Olivier.

hello guys

since many of you seem to like the walls in the last shot, here it is, translated in maxwell:

speaking of the first image, the lighting is made with only one huuuuge emitter (no skylight, sunlight, etc). here's the screengrab:

for the DOF, i always use the online depth of field calculator to fine-tune it
(you can find here: http://www.dofmaster.com/dofjs.html)

hope it helps :)

Thank you for the information!

Although, as you are using a specular map I don't see any reason to use a numerical value for specular? :)
