I will post the final image in my gallery thread, but I thought some might be interested in how I use Maxwell. The final 1200x900 render was allowed to go for 10 hours, although it looked very good after 3.5 hours.

To me, the noise in short term renders doesn't hinder my ability to appreciate (or not appreciate) the design. For some reason, looking at low-quality biased renders interferes with my thought process. So I think M~R quick renders are beneficial in many ways for checking all aspects of both the design and the scene setup.

First of all, terrific renders AS ALWAYS!! I mean the materials are dead on, right down to the reset button on your electrical receptacle.

I did question the height of the bathtub though, it looks like its even with the top of the toilet basin; just an observation.

As to the design, I like it...except...for the shelf supports. :( IKEA sells some very nice shelf support options that I think would work great for what you guys are trying to do. It'll be easy for you husband to put in and cost effective too! Check out their website.

Thanks guys. Does anyone else hate the stupid guest towel? I'm thinking an empty hanger looks better than a badly modeled towel.

About the lighting I notice in the first pics you have some burned out areas near the lights, but in the larger pic it looks much better, yet the light levels look about the same. Did you change anything to the lights or is it just because this picture is bigger that there's less burn? Shouldn't be because of pic size though....

I dialed down burn to 0. I know, I'm going to hell for that, but it was all Micha's idea. :lol:

your scene always look excellent, :shock: :shock: the lighting is in such a good balance...I really wonder how did you do it??
In fact, do u mind posting a wire frame of your scene to show how did you set the lighting up? It is because no matter how I try, the scene is funny for me...

Is the scene an enclose room with just the lighting next to the mirror? Because no matter how I try, an enclose room is always not bright enough with such a little light. If I put a emitter plane to the back, the lighting become funny.... :( :(
