Nice work! Is there some SSS in the plastic?
This reminds me of the ”water in glass” tests on the forum some months back. I think the conclusion at that time was it couldn’t be physically accurately rendered in Maxwell. I wonder if that has been slowed in the current beta version?

Thx again, there's no SSS with white plastic and yes it would be better if I put some. About "water in glass" situation, yes it's still the same but doesn't affect much for such a shape ;)

Looks great, Tom! Nice dual-layer material effect. I guess this would be the only correct current solution to create a good car paint surface.
