please forgive if I repeat other's comments.
- Curtains... been covered
- There is a scale issue throughout... the floor moulding is at least 2x too tall.. the chairs seem too small for the table, the lamp is too large, etc. Check the actual dimension of real world objects and match that...
- some sort of wierdness with the blinds near the bottom, some are missing?
- reduce the colour of the 'object d'art' on the table, it's catching way too much light and dominates the image. It also appears to be magically balancing on it's round end.
- Most people would place a painting between the two windows (centred).
- Window treatments often are mounted right above the windowframe due to the fact that there would be more support for mounting at that point then floating below the ceiling level. There is a topbrace above window where most treatments are screwed into. Just a thought.
- The glass used in the goblets has too high of a refractive index... experiment with other glass... plus set the aber(?) to 150 to remove the coloured noise. Might be a good idea to have only two glasses (two chairs, two people, two glasses) Plus perhaps add a bottle of wine/sherry/vodka... otherwise kinda wierd just orphaned glasses all by themselves.
- A larger texture on the floor might help to avoid the repeaties. (repeating wood texture on the floor gives away it's CG origins)
that's all I see... it's a good start, and a good image... the mood is great, the colours and design is good... it's an image worthy of finishing.
