You have it in reverse (modern society has it in reverse)... clothing is the insult not nudity.

The clothing mandate pretty much suggests: "That we as humans are mentally deficient, genetically degenerate organisms that are incapable to maintin civility, maturity and composure in absence of clothing"... in other words we are perceived as mentally decrepid savages, whose neural deficiency needs to be supplemented by textile cocoons.

In other words, as a species, we have de-evolved to a point that we fear that if our clothes are removed then our society will collapse to a state of phascogale hydonism. go figure ...

IMHO Clothing is only a tool not a mandate.

You're probably right, i'll keep the id of that person safelocked for now.
That's also the problem, some people like this stuff, other don't. It's difficult to please everyone's wishes to make everyone happy. This time i did what i usually would never do.

Most likely you find more than just one who dislikes nudity and sexual content in this forum, but i think they sit silently and observe the situation instead of speaking up.

I'll be proud of my creations, nudity or not it's still art. And art in the real world has been far worse than this i posted here, not even comparable as such the artist who displayed stuffed human corpses in various forms and shapes. People went nuts over that but still accepted it. This is no different.

O yeah if i wanted to i could create some seriously hardcore sexual scenes but that would probably get me banned from Earth so i'm not doing that

You're right about that, there are a few women on this forum which i know of and perhaps alot of them whom non of us know of too. And from that point of view yes they might find it offensive if they're sensitive. However i did some tests on my own with some female friends i have an showed them these renderings and they sure weren't offended by them, more like the opposite. They loved them which surprised me a bit
But the images should be as you said viewed from a technical point of view as this is a technically oriented forum and mainly that's how the criticism should be and most of the time is.

No one has been lynched here yet Daniel, and no one will if i have anything to say about this.

Now i know and learnt a lesson for future posts here and in other forums/galleries to NOT post anything using Poser in it and definately not naked or showing any skin in them. As that's a offense to all women and they should have the respect they earned.

Yes i know what you mean Ian and i can only agree with you on what you say, however i recieved a private message from a forum user and that person told me to remove them as they were disturbing and upsetting for nude and sexual content, something like that. I couldn't do anything but obey since i'm not here to offend and/or upset anyone with renderings. However.. art is art, no matter shape or form.
But from now on, anything showing skin which i do will be visible on my website and not on the forum.

there will always be some inquisitors to place moral limits, don't listenning to them, they're wrong and aren't as many as they think. this is just poor old chirstianism, around the world nudity is just beautiful.

Unfortunately I did not get at chance to view your image before it was removed One of the hardest things to do IMO is getting the look of human skin corrent .. so that makes it even more important that we are allowed to post some form of human nudity rendered with MaxWell here!

I think that it should be up to the moderators of this site, and only the moderators to decide if a picture sould be censured or not

Who was the one censoring those images ? Even the second one - naked - wasn't offensive, at all.

I only wish I had a little more time to play with Maxwell and then I would have title to talk about the technical issues of lighting in those images, but about the content ... I'm really shocked, I admit.

I think the only offensive thing here is this obscurantizm coming from the darkest middle age.
It's really unbelievable and a shame.

Well, it wasn't me. It may not have even been a woman who complained. Contrary to popular opinion, most women (especially those in the arts) do not find nudity to be offensive. I haven't read the entire thread yet, so I don't know the whole story.

As for the nekked version, I couldn't help but notice the absence of the movement she seemed bent on producing.

Okay, I read the entire thread. Really, if anyone was going to find anything remotely offensive in this thread, it would be some of the comments made by others. Max, please apologize to the person who pm'd you and then restore the images. This one person has been able to influence what you feel is appropriate to show here and that is a bad precedent. Let those who object speak openly about it and not go lurking behind private messages..
