Hi,
a partial (but final image) test for the details of "Positano View" images (see the thread below...).

43 minutes without any post works...
level 12.83
LW connection
Physical sky with sun
bump mapping and SSS on the petals and leaves
PIV 3.4 GHz, 1,5 GHz RAM

really nice, do the petals and leaves have real thickness... :?:

Hi Hervè,
thank you for the comments, i think you have seen the previous
version
yeah i'm agree with you it work well without thickness but a little
thickness on petals and leaves is better...
This is without thickness for now...

Nice render, very pretty :)

Just wondered why the centres are very dark ?
They could use a little illumination in there to look more real, maybe this will come from the sss through a longer render.

Thank you Philipbruton,
the centres were very dark because ...i have not activated
SSS! It was un error !

Now i have activate the SSS for the centres too,
and some thickness for petals and leaves as Hervè has asked
(it's right my friend, but the rendering time with SSS is higher ...).
To simulate LW crumple procedural texture that maxwell not support.
i add jitter to perturb the geometry and disabled smooth...

The new image with all this changes
is in rendering again as you can see...

Nice rendring ADL.
It's my impression or the first image has a circular diafragm and the second one an exagonal? It seem's the images haves a different DOF.

Thank you Daros,
the diafragm and DOF are the same for both images.

Hi antonio, now i understand. it's the geometry jitter that makes look the contours diffrent.
Thanks.
