Hey everybody

I just finished a couple of renderings of my apartment. Some of it exist in real life and the rest is a idea for a future renovation when i earn some money. :) I havent had time to make the living room yet, but it will come later this week.

I hope you like it.

Very good job on this apartment! :D you get a couple of thumbs up from me as it looks pretty much photoreal.

But can i comment on some things or.. ? ok here it comes:
- It's too clean
- No curtains
- No flowers and vases
- You must clean your kitchen 17 times a day, i never seen one that clean
- It's all over a very minimalistic design of it, i know it's modern but still..
- Where's the cat ? ;)
- I see no woman there either :P

Good job on it! :)

Thanx everyone :D

Actually i clean my apartment pretty offent, what else should i do when maxwell takes 14 hours to renders those pics... :P But still it would be nice if you could use a little neatimage in real life, hehe.

Regarding the light, i have used a photo as a mxi emitter (background). I also used sky dome at about 25. For the rest of the lights i used the cool_white settings.

Zoppo - you are right about the tap, its to high, i first noticed it when i read your comment. Regading the materials, then i used a lot of plastics, a metal for the chrome and brushed. Also some sss for the lampshade in the bedroom.

Maximus - I have no cat and unfortunatly no woman around  . And regading the curtains i have venetian blinds, which i perhaps should try to model for another picture.

btw. i used a p4 3ghz 1, gb ram. Could use a faster machine to get rid of more noise..

Don't do that - ask Hervé ... Rendertime explodes ...

Could you tell me the settings for your wall material? Mine are staying much darker and grainier.

yes the mxi is a photo taken with my camera just outside my window. actually the same in both renders.

the wall material is a standard white diffuse with a slight warm tint to it.

i dont think the background is too dark, it looked pretty much like that the day i took the pictures for the mxi... i could have taken the pictures on a more exciting day... but a typical danish summmer isnt all blue sky...
