The download size is 4MB that unzips to 15MB, including a pdf readme.

SpinySphere is a static 3D abstract shaped object, with two material zones, saved as a Wavefront .obj file, making it suitable to import into and render in many 3D software packages. Spiny Sphere has been test imported and rendered in Poser 4/5&6, Vue ‘d Esprit 4, Cinema4d 8.5 & 9.1. Please consult your software manual if you are not sure how to import Wavefront .obj files.

I do beg your pardon Becco but what distinct purpose does this spiny sphere serve maxwell users? I must say that I have over 1000 abstract models in several archives and absolutly no intention to apply a maxwell shader to one and wait for a render.
I personally, would rather model a cigarette lighter with a cool logo, render a photorealistic picture of it and call it mine however I can't speak for everyone.

It may prove to be a good rendering test subject in the near future. Good work by the way. I do like this model as it holds some character. But thanks anyways.

Cheers Becco! (B)

I too miss very much your avatar whiskey. Yesterday about 10 persons in my office have fun much with it.
Distractions some times are very important. If you are going to Mcdonalds a distraction can save your health. If you are killing your cat a distraction means life. If you are going to see the lord of rings a distraction means you will have better opion about contemporary cinema. If you are distracted by many things you will write down only the most important things...
