There's nothing wrong with your textures, just the way you present some of your work... make it less of a 'cold' place but capture the human side of concrete construction. Combine it with warm textures like wood and bright colours... :) ::

LoL Pedro :D geez.. just the title of this thread cracked me up like a chunk of bad concrete :P
I give you my honest opinion now, here we go..

Concrete is a dead material, it has zero life in it and personally i dislike it. But that's just my opinion. However i can see you and a bunch of other people here adore concrete in every shape and form it comes in. Those two textures you showed Pedro i thought they looked just about the same as the one you been using now for a while, just more grime and filth on them, otherwise no bigger difference. I'd say.. go wild, make something outta different more alive materials and just see how that liven up your scenes more. Be different and don't walk the same path everyone else walks just because it's draped in concrete and it's "standard".

But sure i can see the challenge in trying to bring the dead concrete material to life by using fancy looking structures, still that i don't think does it. Like trying to wake up the dead and bringing dinosaurs back to life again. It's impossible ;)

Anyways, i won't suggest anymore that this and that texture is bad as it irritates those who have a certain love for this and that material. So here's my suggestion for you Pedro, use your artistic skills and feelings and see what's beautiful and functional and don't step in everyone else's footsteps just because it's easy and it points down a road of success. Be different and then people will notice your work for the right reasons. :)
